"My daughter is very 'pigeon-toed' so I try to find her shoes that are not too bulky but provide support. These shoes were perfect. They matched her uniform for school, they are cute, and she isn't falling over. She really likes them because she can put them on by herself, which I found to be a major plus especially when we were running late in the mornings!! I wasn't going to get them at first because of the velcro buckle. I thought it would come loose while playing, but that wasn't the case at all. I ended up buying another pair! Closed heel, closed toe, good support, flexible sole, still breathable for spring/summer/fall months, comfortable for LO i.e. everything you look for in a growing child's shoe. Yes, they're expensive but worth it. They protect my LO's feet and she practically lives in them! We're on our second pair. They hold up too, she's still wearing the same pair and only buying new because she grew out of them. She wore them everyday for 5 months and plan on cleaning and keeping them for our next LO. "As far as sandals go, these are the perfect combination of form and function.
